Individual Counseling
A preliminary interview is held for all individuals who apply to our unit within the scope of psychological counseling. After the preliminary interview, the client is directed to the relevant specialist and the psychological counseling process begins on the specified day and time. The psychological counseling process lasts an average of 8-10 sessions and is done in sessions of 45-50 minutes once a week.

Students who are determined to need psychiatric or other medical assistance are directed to the relevant physician or emergency room in order to provide diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, and support is provided to follow-up studies for these students when necessary.

Group Counseling
It is the process of professional and systematic assistance given to groups of 10-12 people on average, for clients who come together to realize a certain common goal, change their feelings, values ​​and attitudes, and learn new behaviors. In our unit, groups are formed in line with the needs of the clients. These groups last an average of 6-8 sessions depending on the content of the program and are conducted in 50-minute sessions once a week.

Seminar Activities
Seminar studies are the activities of informing and raising awareness of individuals on a certain subject by experts in the field. Hacettepe University Psychological Counseling Unit plans and organizes seminars by experts in their fields for the needs of our students.
